How to Fix Tight Cast On Stitches

Beginner knitters often have the issue of knitting too tight, and that also goes for the cast-on row!

What do you do if your cast on stitches are too tight?

First, you want to try to adjust your tension as you cast on by trying to create looser loops.

If you try and try and this method just doesn't work for you, here's a little trick that will help you move on to create loose cast on stitches. Watch the technique in the video below!

    We've Finally Launched!

    Thank you!

It's been a long, long road in getting this website up and these video tutorials launched! I know many of you have been with me for a year, and for those of you who have been with me from the beginning, I just want to say thank you! Thank you so much for your patience as I've taken this journey to learn all things required to set everything up to make this the best possible learning experience for you.

It's been quite a journey as I've been researching the right platform to use for this without having to build it from scratch (it took me 3 years!), writing and re-writing the curriculum, designing patterns, making samples, setting up all the legal parts of the business, learning how to film high quality video, using lavelier mics, light boxes, attending conferences, seminars, learning how to use a CRM system, building my website, and quite frankly, just building up the courage to put myself out there.

I'm here because I'm passionate about knitting, fashion, design, teaching, and creating the best user experience. I love to make things, and I especially love the therapeutic process of knitting. And I want to share my passions with you. I'm designing tutorials and courses I wish existed when I started out, before I had to attend fashion design school to go deep into learning how to make everything.

I created this business and the upcoming courses so that you can just sit back and enjoy the process of learning, and not have to waste hours and days and weeks researching on how to do something, only to get stuck and put a project on hold for months... ok, maybe years.

Let my struggles be transmuted into a wonderful learning experience for you. My goal is to help you discover the joy of knitting and all the benefits this world of yarn brings.

I want to hear from you. Please leave a comment below and let me know what brought you to wanting to learn how to knit.

I'm excited to share this journey with you and honored to have you with me. Now, let's get ready to knit!

Be sure you're on the mailing list to receive an email with a video explaining the materials you will need for the upcoming tutorials.

And again, thank you for your patience. The time has finally come to learn how to knit!

Lots of love to all of you!
